What is stoicism?

Stoicism is an ancient Greek philosophy, created over 2,000 years ago, that teaches the importance of focusing on what you can control and accepting what you cannot. Some of history’s strongest men, including leaders and warriors, practiced Stoicism, believing that by mastering their minds and emotions, they could achieve inner peace and live fulfilling lives, regardless of external circumstances.
